SHELL SAND

With our monthly production capacity of 3120 tons, we produce resinous core sand (shell sand) in line with the requests of our valued customers. In our production process, silica sands in sizes between 40-45 AFS and 70-75 AFS and various amounts of resin (1.5-7%) are used to produce resinous core sand used for gravity and sand mold casting: (FAH SHELL SAND: 1015, 1020, 1025, 1025-5, 1030, 1035, 1040, 1050 etc. ...).

Chromite Sand

A black, angular sand, chromite sand (FeCr,0) is highly heat stable and chemically non-reactive, with good thermal stability and excellent cooling properties. It is used in mold and core applications in the casting industry.
